Andrew Luck put Indianapolis ahead with a TD pass to Reggie Wayne late in the game and the Colts made the playoffs Sunday with a 20-13 win over Kansas City. Luck's 7-yard toss to Wayne with 4:08 remaining capped a 17-of-35, 205-yard performance that broke Cam Newton's single-season rookie passing record and led the Colts (10-5) into the post-season. The signal-caller has amassed 4,183 yards this season and has been the key for Indianapolis' turnaround after last season's 2-14 campaign and the departure likely future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning. Wayne finished with five grabs for 81 yards in the victory. Brady Quinn completed 10-of-22 passes for 162 yards and was intercepted twice for the Chiefs (2-13).
