Marcus Foligno and Jason Pominville each scored twice Monday and the Buffalo Sabres stayed in the playoff hunt with a 7-3 rout of Tampa Bay. Drew Stafford had a goal and two assists while Corey Tropp and Brad Boyes also scored for the Sabres, who kept pace with Washington in the race for the final Eastern Conference playoff slot. The win gave Buffalo 78 points, two fewer than the Capitals, who beat Detroit Monday 5-3. Ryan Miller helped the Sabres break a two-game skid with 24 saves. Bruno Gervais and Ryan Malone each recorded a goal and an assist for the Lightning, who fell to 1-4-0 on a seven-game homestand. Bolts goalie Dustin Tokarski was chased from the net in the second period after yielding four goals on 15 shots. Dwayne Roloson relieved and made 20 saves.
