
Pakistan were 127-1 at lunch on the fourth morning of the first Test against New Zealand in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
Mohammad Hafeez was 72 for his second half-century in the match while Younis Khan was unbeaten on 26 as Pakistan stretched their lead to 431.
That gives Pakistan a strong position for a 1-0 lead in the three-Test series.
Resuming at 15-0 Pakistan lost Azhar Ali for 23 to leg-spinner Ish Sodhi who has figures of 1-47.
