No. 1 seed Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and unseeded Magdalena Rybarikova won their semifinal matches Friday and will meet in the final of the Citi Open. Pavlyuchenkova gained her first final of the year with a 4-6, 7-5, 6-4 win over American Vania King. The 21-year-old Russian will be vying her fourth career WTA singles title. Slovakia's Rybarikova pulled off a 6-3, 6-3 upset of third-seeded American Sloane Stephens to advance. Rybarikova, 23, will be looking for her third career WTA singles crown.
