India were 462 for six in their first innings when stumps were drawn early on the third day of the rain-hit Test match against Bangladesh in Fatullah on Friday.
Just 47.3 overs were sent down during the day at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali stadium, in which India added 223 runs to their total of 239 for no loss on the first day.
Murali Vijay (150) put on 283 for the first wicket with Shikhar Dhawan (173) and 114 for the fourth with Ajinkya Rahane, who was dismissed for 98.
Left-arm spinner Shakib Al Hasan grabbed four of the six wickets, but rain allowed only 10.3 overs to be bowled after the lunch break.
With only six sessions remaining in the match, the one-off Test is headed for a draw.
Just 56 of the stipulated 90 overs were possible on the opening day due to bad weather, while the entire second day's play was washed out.
