Pierre Rolland of France won Stage 11 of the Tour de France Thursday and Bradley Wiggins of Britain finished sixth to retain the overall lead. Rolland's victory Thursday was the second in two days for France, following on Thomas Voeckler's win in Stage 10 Wednesday. Rolland cover the 148-kilometer (92-mile) course from Albertville to La Toussuire in 4 hours, 43 minutes, 54 seconds. Thibaut Pinot of France finished second, followed by Christopher Froome of Britain. Wiggins leads Froome by 2:05. Stage 12 Friday is 226 kilometers (140 miles) from Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne to Annonay Davezieux.
