Unics Kazan coach Evgeny Pashutin has shrugged off his team's Euroleague basketball 63-58 defeat to Olimpia Milano, saying Thursday "nothing has changed" in the fight to reach the playoffs. Despite Wednesday's loss in Italy, Unics still leads the competition's Group G, which includes Panathinaikos and Fenerbahce Ulker. “Nothing has changed in the fight to reach the playoffs,” the Euroleague 's website quoted Pashutin as saying. “We'll have to fight till the last minute of the last game and then we'll see what happens,” he said. The result was a revenge defeat for the Italians, who lost in Kazan earlier this month 59-44. Unics, making its debut in Europe's top club competition this year, has won its other games against Panathinaikos and Fenerbahce. Russia's two-times Euroleague champion CSKA Moscow plays on Thursday against Galatasaray. Pashutin, 42, has coached Unics since 2010. As a player he was a runner-up with the Russian national team in the 1994 world championships, losing to the U.S. in the final 137-91.
