The Chicago White Sox announced that General Manager Ken Williams will become head of baseball operations and assistant GM Rick Hahn will take his place. Williams, 48, who has served as general manager for 13 years and helped lead the team to its 2005 World Series title, will retain his title as a senior vice president when he moves into his new job. Hahn, 41, has been involved in negotiating team contracts since joining the organization in 2000. "Kenny and Rick together have worked very successfully over the past 12 seasons," said White Sox Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf."
