Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has been given the green light to return to action after recovering from his hamstring tear, the Spanish club confirmed today. The FIFA World Cup™ winner has been absent since suffering the injury during Barça's UEFA Champions League draw with AC Milan on 13 September. Barça are next in action against Racing Santander on October 15 when La Liga resumes after the international break. Iniesta was not among those called up when Spain coach Vicente del Bosque announced his squad last Friday for the upcoming UEFA EURO 2012 qualifiers against Czech Republic and Scotland.
