Ukraine's Ambassador in Cairo Hennadiy Latte has said that the New Suez Canal will be an important pathway to transport Ukrainian exports.
Ukraine and all world countries will benefit from the New Suez Canal, Latte said in statements to MENA Wednesday.
This mega project will sure help give the Egyptian economy a shot in the arm, the diplomat said.
Latte said his country is seriously considering contributing to projects to develop the Suez Canal area.
Kiev is working to determine possible fields of cooperation with Cairo, he added.
A Ukrainian minister will be attending the inauguration ceremony of the New Suez Canal on August 6, Latte said.
