Within the first 24 hours, 74,000 tickets in categories 1-3 have been sold for the FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013 during the Visa pre-sale phase. This is a record in the history of the ‘Festival of Champions’. The most popular games proved to be the opening match in Brasilia on 15 June 2013 and the final at the Maracanã on 30 June 2013. As only a limited number of tickets were available in this Visa pre-sale, no more tickets are available in this sales phase for these two prestigious matches. Fans will have the next opportunity to buy tickets for the opening match and the final during the public sales phase starting on 3 December 2012, when tickets for all 16 matches will go on sale including Category 4 tickets, exclusively reserved for Brazilians. This will be two days after the draw for the FIFA Confederations Cup in São Paulo on 1 December, when fans will find out who plays whom during the group-stage matches. In the meantime, MATCH Services AG is working to further enhance the ticketing system for the fans. It is important to note that due to the high interest in FIFA Confederations Cup tickets, fans may be temporarily transferred to the waiting room until their request can be processed. The waiting room has been introduced particularly to ensure that to fans who come first will be served first. Ticketing enquiries can be addressed to MATCH Services AG via email: enquiries@2013ftc.com.br From : Fifa
