The general ticket sales for the FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2012 presented by TOYOTA will open on FIFA.com on 9 September. The ninth edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, scheduled to be played from 6 to 16 December 2012, will take place in the Japanese cities of Yokohama and Toyota City. The competition will feature CF Monterrey of Mexico (CONCACAF Champions League winners), SC Corinthians of Brazil (CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores winners), Auckland City FC of New Zealand (OFC O-League winners), Chelsea FC of England (UEFA Champions League winners), the winning teams from this year’s AFC Champions League and CAF Champions League as well as a club from Japan’s J.League representing the host nation. The AFC Champions League and CAF Champions League winners are to be decided at the beginning of November, and the J.League winner will be known by 1 December at the latest.
