Qatar’s Abdulrahman Abdulqader has intensified his training sessions before participation in Javelin Throw competitions at the 2012 London Paralympic Games to held on Saturday. The Games began in London on Wednesday. Abdulqader will compete in Javelin Throw, Shot Putting and Discus Throw competition to be held on Saturday, Tuesday and Friday respectively. Over the course of the 11-day event, some 4,280 athletes from 165 countries are competing in 21 sports, with more than 500 gold medals up for grabs. Participants in the Games are competing in Archery, Athletics, Boccia, Cycling Road, Cycling Track, Equestrian, Football 5-a-side, Football 7-a-side, Goalball, Judo, Powerlifting, Rowing, Sailing, Shooting, Swimming, Table Tennis, Sitting Volleyball, Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Fencing, Wheelchair Rugby, and Wheelchair Tennis.
