AC Milan to exchange daniele bonera with roma's marco borriello

The Serie A champions are in the market for attacking reinforcements because of the lengthy absence of Antonio Cassano, who is currently recovering from heart surgery, and they see Borriello as a good replacement. The 29-year-old is a product of the Milan youth academy, but never really managed to secure regular first team action at San Siro. He left the Rossoneri for Roma in the summer of 2010, but could now be on his way back. Roma, meanwhile, are keen to strengthen their back-line following the serious knee injury Nicolas Burdisso sustained earlier this week with the Argentine national team, and they reportedly see Bonera as a useful addition to their rearguard. The 30-year-old has been under contract with Milan since the summer of 2006, but has mainly been warming the bench at the Rossoneri and is keen to move on.
