Tickets to the Atlantic Coast Conference championship football game in Charlotte, N.C., are going cheap, as little as $3 on a secondary market. The lack of interest stems from a less-than-successful ACC season and a championship game Monday evening between 12th-ranked Florida State and the barely bowl-eligible Georgia Tech. Both teams lost their final season games, WBTV-TV, Charlotte, reported, noting that as of Monday, 150 tickets were still available at $10 or less. Georgia Tech made the championship game because two higher-rated teams, the University of North Carolina and the University of Miami, were ruled ineligible due to NCAA sanctions. While sellers in secondary ticket markets are asking $5,000 per ticket for sideline seats, the online market StubHub had tickets available elsewhere in the stadium for $3, the television station reported.
