Former Brest boss Alex Dupont has been appointed coach of Ligue 1 rivals Ajaccio, the club has confirmed. Dupont, who was sacked by the Brittany side just five games before the end of the season, takes over from Olivier Pantaloni at Corsican side Ajaccio. Ajaccio president Alain Orsoni said Dupont had signed a four year deal. Dupont led the Brittany club to promotion to Ligue 1 in 2010. Both Ajaccio and Brest narrowly avoided the drop last season, finishing with 41 points after 38 games. FIFA .
