Werder Bremen’s director of sport Klaus Allofs said on Tuesday that striker Claudio Pizarro will not leave the club during January’s transfer window, despite the Peru star saying he wants to go. “I can rule out any chance of Claudio leaving in the winter transfer window,” Allofs told Bremen newspaper the Weser Kurier, with Pizarro out of contract in June. Allofs said he has heard nothing from the former Chelsea and Bayern Munich forward about wanting to leave, but Italian giants Inter Milan have been linked to the 33-year-old, who has hit 11 goals in 13 league games this season. “Yes, I am interested in leaving Bremen,” Pizarro told German daily Die Welt on Tuesday.“I have always said I will think about things and look at my situation here.”
