Argentinian Federico Delbonis claimed on Sunday Morocco's Grand Prix Hassan II, the only ATP World Tour stop in Africa.
The 25-year-old player won the title after beating Croat Borna Coric in two sets 6-2 and 6-4 in the city of Marrakech.
Delbonis, ranked 47th, did not drop a set in this competition, joining doubles champions Guillermo Duran and Maximo Gonzalez in an all-Argentine winners' circle.
He fired four aces and saved all three break points faced to emerge with the trophy, denying Borna Coric's bid to win his first ATP World Tour title.
The 19-year-old Croat, ranked 48th, lost his only career final in January on an outdoor hard-court at Chennai, India.
After this result, Delbonis will return to the top 40 of the Emirates ATP Rankings after claiming his second ATP World Tour title.
