The 76-year-old chairman of Arsenal, Peter Hill-Wood, is making a good recovery after suffering a heart attack, the club announced on Monday. A spokesman for the club said: "Peter is recovering well in hospital and there is a good prognosis. "We are hoping he will make a full and speedy return." Hill-Wood, appointed chairman of Arsenal in 1982, suffered the attack at home on Friday after a bout of pneumonia. Hill-Wood is the third member from his family to assume the role of chairman. His father, Denis, served in the post between 1962 and 1982 and his grandfather, Samuel, had two stints in the position in 1929-1936 and 1946-1949.
