The Dutchman had to undergo surgery six weeks ago to rectify the problem and he has admitted that the injury was more painful than any thing else he's experienced in the past. "I've had my fair share of injuries, but I've never experienced something like this. This was the worst injury in my life," Robben was quoted as saying by Bild. "It's impossible to imagine how bad it was. I had a lot of pain and the recovery process was very hard." The former Real Madrid winger then looked ahead to this weekend's Bundesliga match versus Borussia Dortmund and made it clear that he's hopeful of getting playing time. "I'm obviously looking forward to the game and to making my comeback. I can hardly wait for the match to take place. However, we don't want to risk anything by rushing my comeback." The match at the Allianz Arena takes place on Saturday and kicks off at 18.30CET.
