French international fly-half Lionel Beauxis left former European champions Toulouse on Friday to sign a season-long deal with Top 14 rivals Bordeaux-Begles. The 28-year-old, who has played 20 times for France and won domestic titles with Stade Francais in 2007 and Toulouse in 2012, also has an option on another year with his new employers. "He is a player who will bring a lot of pleasure because he has 20 caps for France and has played for two great clubs," said Bordeaux-Begles president Laurent Marti. "I'd bet that he will become a great attacker." Bordeaux-Begles have also signed Brive lock Julien Ledevedec on a two-year contract. Ledevedec, 27, has played 12 matches in the Top 14 for Brive.
