Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has warned the club’s big name players that no-one is assured of a place in his team, according to The Daily Mail.Frank Lampard was reportedly very unhappy about being relegated to the bench for Saturday’s 4-1 win over Swansea City as the Blues boss looks to find the right formula to get the best out of £50 million striker Fernando Torres.Torres has so far found it difficult to gel with Lampard, and the likes of Florent Malouda and Salomon Kalou have also found first-team opportunities hard to come by as a result of their lack of understanding with the Spaniard. But while Villas-Boas has moved to reassure Lampard of his importance to the Chelsea squad, he insists he will continue to pick his teams based on form rather than reputation. With Torres set to serve a three-match domestic ban for his dismissal against Swansea, Lampard could well get another chance in the side along with striker Didier Drogba, who made a goalscoring return for the Blues on Saturday.
