Changchun Yatai missed the chance to close the gap on the Chinese Super League frontrunners after they suffered a shock 1-0 home defeat against Dalian Shide. The hosts had the opportunity to move within eight points of leaders Guangzhou Evergrande with victory against a side who were only one point clear of the bottom before the clash.
