Chase Tapley and Jamaal Franklin both had 15 points Wednesday and No. 25 San Diego State clamped down defensively to crush Arkansas-Pine Bluff 79-43. The Aztecs gave up just 18 field goals for the entire game while running their record to 3-1. Their lone loss this season has come against Syracuse. San Diego State led at the half 36-14 and won despite hitting only 41 percent of its field goal attempts. Skylar Spencer added 12 points for the Aztecs. DaVon Haynes led all scorers while producing 17 points for the Golden Lions (1-3).
