The out-of-favour Frenchman feels a move to the Italian capital would be ideal for his career after falling down the pecking order at the Santiago Bernabeu.Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra has revealed that a transfer to Roma is in his sights after insisting he does not wish to warm the bench in the Spanish capital. The 26-year-old has become a peripheral figure under Madrid coach Jose Mourinho, who has brought in midfield additions of his own since arriving at the Bernabeu in 2010. The former Chelsea and Arsenal man has now suggested that Luis Enrique's side could be his next port of call. "There's too much competition here [at Real Madrid]. I do not want to stay on the bench any longer," said Diarra."I am sure that my contribution could be important," he continued.
