The Anaheim Ducks announced Thursday veteran right winger Teemu Selanne had agreed to play another season. Although financial terms were not announced, the Los Angeles Times reported Selanne had signed a one-year deal for $4.5 million. On the final day of the 2011-12 campaign, Selanne became the oldest player in NHL history to appear in all 82 games of a season. He has since turned 42. Selanne had 26 goals and 40 assists last season and for his career has scored 663 goals with 743 assists in 1,341 games. He is 12th on the NHL's all-time goal-scoring list and fourth in power play goals with 248.
