Dynamo Moscow's league match against Zenit St Petersburg was abandoned in the 36th minute after home goalkeeper Anton Shunin was injured by what looked to be a firecracker thrown from the crowd. Dynamo had taken the lead in the 27th minute of the game through a Vladimir Granat free-kick, but referee Alexei Nikolaev called a halt to the game nine minutes later after Shunin went down injured. Russia Football Union chief Tolstykh Russian Football Union chief Nikolai Tolstykh, who arrived urgently to Khimki arena after the incident, said that the decision on the case will be taken in the nearest future.
