France and England will face off at the UEFA Women’s EURO 2013, while reigning champions Germany will again meet Norway, after the tournament draw was made in Gothenburg. The Germans, who have won the last five editions of the competition and been crowned winners seven times in total, have been grouped with the Scandinavians for the third consecutive time. The Netherlands and Iceland complete Group B. In Group C, France will be challenged by 2009 runners-up England as well as play-off qualifiers Russia and Spain, while hosts Sweden are joined in Group A by neighbours Denmark, Finland and Italy. The French eliminated England on penalties in the quarter-finals of the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup, and the pair drew 2-2 in an international friendly last month. The tournament will take place from 10-28 July next year, with the top two teams in each group and the two best third-placed finishers progressing to the knockout stages. From : Fifa
