Spain, Greece, Portugal, England, France and Croatia became the first six teams to book their places at the FIFA U-20 World Cup Turkey 2013, which will take place between 21 June and 13 July of next year. The European qualifying tournament took place in Estonia and the six teams mentioned above booked their tickets to the world finals by finishing in the top three places of the two groups. In group A, Spain (7 points) finished on top ahead of Greece (6) and Portugal (4) while hosts Estonia (0) missed out on their chance to reach Turkey, finishing bottom in the table. In group B, England (7) won out ahead of France (6) and Croatia (4) while fourth-placed Serbia (0) failed to make it to the world finals. Next Thursday, the two semi-finals of the European Championship 2012 take place with Spain facing France and England playing Greece. The final will take place on Sunday in Tallinn
