Fiorentina have terminated the contract of wantaway midfielder Houssine Kharja. The 29-year-old was contracted to the Tuscan outfit for another season, but reportedly agreed a two-year deal Qatari with Al Arabi last month. The split with La Viola frees the Morocco international to complete the transfer. A statement from Fiorentina read: "ACF Fiorentina announces that it has reached an agreement with Houssine Kharja for the early consensual resolution of his contract." Kharja, who joined Fiorentina from Genoa last summer, made 21 appearances for them last term.
