Former Wales prop Adam Jones will join Harlequins from Cardiff Blues at the end of the season, the English Premiership club announced on Thursday.
The 34-year-old called time on a glittering Wales career earlier this season after making 95 international appearances and winning three Six Nations Grand Slams in 2005, 2008 and 2012.
The shaggy-haired tighthead also won the Six Nations in 2013 and played five times for the British and Irish Lions.
"I am really excited about this new challenge," said Jones, who joined the Blues last year after 11 years with the Ospreys.
"I have enjoyed my year with the Blues, and I am thankful to the board and (former rugby director) Mark Hammett for giving me a go.
"Contrary to media reports in Wales, I have had options here (in Wales), but Harlequins is an ambitious and progressive club with good values. Everyone who is there, or who has been there, loves it."
Jones follows Australia captain James Horwill in signing for Quins for next season, while the south-west London club have also been linked with Jones's former Wales team-mate Jamie Roberts, who plays for Racing Metro in France.
Quins rugby director Conor O'Shea told the club website: "We are absolutely delighted to have secured Adam's services.
"Not only is it apparent that Adam wants to keep going for some time to come, but the work he will do in supporting and pushing our young tightheads Kyle Sinckler, Will Collier and Matt Shields will benefit us for years to come.
"He is a world-class prop, and we cannot wait to get him involved. I am sure he will become an instant hit with our supporters."
Jones last played for Wales on their South Africa tour nine months ago and announced his retirement after he was not selected for last November's end-of-year internationals.
