Eintracht Frankfurt have completed the signing of Norway centre-back Vadim Demidov from Spanish club Real Sociedad for an undisclosed fee. The 25-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Bundesliga newcomers, whose coach Armin Veh recently said he needs three defenders to complete his summer shopping spree. "We are very pleased to have been able to bring this transfer to a successful conclusion for Eintracht Frankfurt," said the club's director of sport Bruno Hubner in a statement. "We have been able to sign a strong central defender who has leadership qualities and therefore fits into the team profile of Eintracht Frankfurt and head coach Armin Veh." Demidov played 40 times for Real Sociedad, who he joined in 2011 after three years with Rosenborg. He won the Norwegian league twice for Rosenborg, playing in 79 matches in the 2008/09 season alone.
