J-League first-division side Gamba Osaka have recruited Brazilian striker Leandro back from Qatari club Al Sadd on a one-year loan to help them fight relegation. The 27-year-old Leandro will be eligible to play in the J-League after its transfer window opens on 20 July, the club said in a statement on its website, with his contract running until 30 June next year. Leandro moved to Al Sadd in September 2009 after playing in the J-League for four years with four different clubs. He scored 11 goals in 21 league games for the Osaka outfit in his final year. Al Saad loaned him to another Qatari side Al Rayyan last January on an 18-month deal. Gamba are struggling in the second-bottom spot in the 18-team first division table, three months into the J-League season. FIFA .
