The General Organization for Youth and Sports’ youth centres directorate is organizing a karting event for youth centres at the Karting Circuit near the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir. Held under the slogan “We are all Hamad”, the event is expected to attract wide participation of the youth centers, which are under the umbrella of GOYS, as they express their joy and celebrations of the Kingdom's National Day and the 13th anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad’s accession to the throne. Centres taking part this year are Al Nuaim, Isa Town, Al Buhair, Hamad Town, East Riffa, Zallaq, Al Shakhoora, Salmabad, Muharraq, Central, South, Al Jasra, Busaiteen, Safra, Youth Hostels, in addition to an all-women's team from the General Organization for Youth and Sports. This activity will take place on Saturday, Decembr 22, from 11 am to 1.30pm.On this occasion, Director of youth centres Ahmad Al Dosari noted that GOYS is eager for the youth centres to incorporate with each other in order to meet and exchange ideas and experiences. He added that through this event, they found that it has achieved many of the goals when it was organized last year, which made it an annual event that boosts the volume of co-operation and ties among the Bahraini youth. Al Dosari pointed out that this karting event is the second edition organized by the youth centres directorate following the great success and broad participation from the centres enthusiasts in Bahrain last year.
