Major League Soccer suspended French striker Thierry Henry of the New York Red Bulls for one match on Friday for a headbutting incident in the 93rd minute of New York's 2-0 loss to Sporting Kansas City on Wednesday. The 35-year-old will miss the Red Bulls' game at New England Revolution on Saturday and will be fined an undisclosed sum over his action against Kansas City forward Kei Kamara. During a late-match substitution, Henry ran at Kamara and knocked his head against Kamara's, sending both men falling to the field. In a Red Bulls loss at Kansas City last year, Henry received a red card after a similar action involving Roger Espinoza. Henry has scored 13 goals in 21 matches this season, sharing fourth in the MLS scoring race. In 2011, the French playmaker netted 14 goals in 26 appearances for New York. Kansas City leads the Eastern Conference of MLS with a 16-7-6 record while the Red Bulls are third in the East, five points back at 14-8-7. FIFA
