Stuttgart's Bosnian striker Vedad Ibisevic joined league rivals Hertha Berlin with immediate effect, both sides confirmed in official statement on Sunday.
The 31-year-old striker joined Hertha Berlin from Stuttgart where he played since January 2013 to score 33 goals in 86 Bundesliga appearances. Both sides agreed to keep silence over further contract details.
"In the past few weeks we have been looking for a solution that is suitable for Vedad and us. We are now glad that we have found such a solution. We wish Vedad all the best for his future," Stuttgart's sporting director Robin Dutt said.
Hertha's new arrival added: "I had beautiful years in Stuttgart even though we haven't always achieved the desired results. At the end, we all agreed that a transfer is the right decision for both."
Berlin encounters Monchengladbach on Sunday to close the third round in Bundesliga.
