Zlatan Ibrahimovic bagged a brace as Paris Saint-Germain fought back from two goals down to claim a 2-2 draw in their Ligue 1 opener against ten-man Lorient. After a breathtaking close-season spending spree which has netted the likes of Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Lucas Moura, PSG were stunned after an own goal from Maxwell and Jeremie Aliadiere's strike put Lorient 2-0 ahead at half-time. But Ibrahimovic narrowed the deficit in the 63rd minute and, after Gregory Bourillon was dismissed for a challenge on Blaise Matuidi in the area, the Sweden international slotted home from the penalty spot to earn his new side a share of the spoils. Carlo Ancelotti's men had high hopes for this season after finishing runners-up to Montpellier last season. However, they suffered a 1-0 defeat by Lorient in the first game of that campaign and the hosts must have had a feeling of déjà vu when they conceded after just the second minute. Kevin Monnet-Paquet burst down the left and his cross was directed into the net by PSG defender Maxwell, whose attempted clearance instead went in-between Nicolas Douchez's legs. Ibrahimovic inspiration Ibrahimovic nearly levelled matters with a diving header but was denied by Lorient goalkeeper Fabien Audard, who also kept out Lavezzi's audacious 25-yard lob. It was to prove pivotal as former Arsenal and Middlesbrough striker Aliadiere fabulously dribbled past three defenders before stroking past Douchez three minutes before half-time to leave the Parc des Princes crowd stunned. Ibrahimovic continued to be a thorn in Lorient's side after the interval and, although he struck the post with a first-time shot, he then halved the deficit soon after. Freed by Lavezzi with a ball over the top, the former Barcelona striker chested the ball and struck low to beat Audard from close range in the 63rd minute. However, despite looking the stronger team, PSG were heading for defeat until Bourillon was given his marching orders for a foul on Matuidi in the box with just two minutes remaining. Ibrahimovic stepped up to slot home, despite Audard guessing the right way. FIFA
