Paris Saint-Germain boss Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will fly out to the United States on Tuesday to join the club's pre-season tour and meet his new team-mates. The Sweden international completed an £18 million (€23m) move from AC Milan to the Parisian outfit on July 18, just four days after Brazilian defender Thiago Silva went the same way. The centre-back has not gone on the club's tour of the US as he is currently part of Mano Menezes' Selecao squad for the Olympics, but Ancelotti has stated that Ibrahimovic will join the squad for a few days on Tuesday, after previous reports had suggested he would be staying in France. "Zlatan will arrive on Tuesday and will train for four or five days with the rest of the group before continuing his preparation at [PSG training centre] Camp des Loges," Ancelotti said at a press conference on Saturday. "I'm not sure if he will play against DC United on July 29, first we must look at his physical condition." Looking ahead to the season proper, the former Milan coach is confident the Swede will provide a big boost for the Parisians. "Zlatan has been an important player at every club he has played for, and I am sure his experience will help other players in the squad," Ancelotti continued. "He will be a very important player in the system we want to play." The first friendly of PSG's US tour is against Chelsea, and kicks off at 00:00BST on Sunday evening.
