Former Italy coach Marcello Lippi has ruled out luring Alessandro Del Piero to his new club, Chinese champions Guangzhou Evergrande. Del Piero will play his last game for newly crowned Serie A champions Juventus in Sunday's Italian Cup final against Napoli and he is looking for a new club as the Turin giants have decided not to renew his contract after 19 years. "It's a nice idea, but I don't think so," Lippi told ANSA via telephone when asked about the possibility of signing the 37-year-old forward. "This club has a specific policy. They want youngsters to build the future with, not players of great value who are quite old". Del Piero was part of Lippi's squad that won the 2006 World Cup and of the Juventus team he led to five Serie A titles and a Champions League crown during the coach's two stints in charge between 1994 and 2004.
