Newly-promoted West Ham United are hoping to take forward Colin Kazim-Richards and defender Bilel Mohsni on their pre-season tour to Germany, with the pair having spent the last few days training with the Hammers. Turkey international Kazim-Richards played the first half of the club’s 2-1 pre-season victory over Colchester United, while Mohsni saw some action in the second half. And Hammers assistant manager Neil McDonald has now confirmed that both players will make the trip to Germany. McDonald told the club’s official website: "Colin did all right. “He's been training with us for a few days and he's going to come with us to Germany, so we'll have a good look at him there. "Our first impressions are that he's not too bad. "Bilel has been in for a couple of days as well and I think he's going to come to Germany as well. "We're having a good look at players to try to complement the squad and boost it up, so we will see how that goes." Mohsni has been training with West Ham since failing to return to training with League Two side Southend United, and has been criticised for recent problems with his off-field behaviour. Meanwhile, Kazim-Richards played in the Premier League for Sheffield United in their ill-fated 2006/07 campaign, scoring just once for the Blades before moving to Turkish side Fenerbahce. West Ham’s trip to Germany will last a week, and sees them take on Rot-Weiss Erfurt, Dynamo Dresden and Energie Cottbus.
