Terry Dunfield headed home the winner seconds before the final whistle as Toronto FC overcame a late equaliser to beat Canadian rivals Vancouver Whitecaps 3-2 in Major League Soccer. Darren Mattocks put the Whitecaps ahead five minutes into the second half and, after Luis Silva (69) and Torsten Frings (72) turned the game in Toronto's favour, netted his second when Milos Kocic missed his punch in the 90th minute. Moments later, though, former Whitecaps midfielder Dunfield rose to nod home Frings' corner and seal the victory. The win, which was just Toronto's third of the season, was not enough to lift them off the bottom of the Eastern Conference.
