Leinster's Irish prop Cian Healy was cited on Tuesday for allegedly striking a Toulon player with his knee during Sunday's 24-9 defeat in the European Champions Cup, tournament organisers announced.
Healy was sin-binned during the first half of Sunday's loss to the reigning three-time European champions after an incident involving Toulon hooker Guilhem Guirado.
The 28-year-old faces a disciplinary hearing in Paris on Thursday and could receive a minimum three-week ban if the act is deemed deliberate.
La Rochelle centre Elliot Roudil could also be punished for a "dangerous tackle" in the French side's 27-19 win over Italians Zebre in the Challenge Cup.
