Seven-time world champion Sebastien Loeb has extended his deal with Citroen by two years through to 2013, the marque's director general Frederic Banzet said on Wednesday. "Sebastien Loeb is a superb ambassador for Citroen," said Banzet in a statement which came ahead of this weekend's Rally of Germany. "His image and ours are today strongly intertwined. He incarnates the bravura, the sportsmanship, the competitive spirit and the values which are so dear to us. We are proud of his loyalty to Citroen." Loeb, 37 years old and with 66 race wins to his name to date, has spent a decade with Citroen. He currently leads the standings once again with five races remaining this season.
