Atletico Madrid wing-back Filipe Luis has agreed a contract extension that ties him to the Spanish club until 30 June 2017. The Brazil international joined Atletico from Deportivo La Coruna in 2010 and has played 88 official games for Los Rojiblancos, helping the club win the UEFA Super Cup in 2010 and the UEFA Europa League earlier this year. The 26-year-old said on Atletico's website: "Last season was the best of my career and right now I feel important in the dressing room. "I hope to fulfil my contract because Atletico Madrid will return to be where they deserve to be and I'm happy to form part of the history of the club."
