City manager Roberto Mancini does not like his players to be out past midnight on the two nights that precede games and it looks as though Balotelli has breached this, as he did before the Stoke game in December. Last time Balotelli was not fined but Mancini is likely to go further this time. The City manager will be especially displeased as he spent much of Friday's weekly press conference speaking of how important Balotelli will be during the race for the Barclays Premier League title. Mancini said: 'We hope that he will play all the games to the end of the season for us.'
