Maxi leaves Liverpool for Newell's

Liverpool midfielder Maxi Rodriguez has joined Newell's Old Boys in Argentina for an undisclosed fee, the English Premier League giants said Friday. Maxi, 31, arrived at Anfield from Atletico Madrid in Spain in January, 2010, and went on to to score 17 goals in 73 appearances for the Reds.
