Under the directives of Qadhi Saeed Al Murooshid, Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority, the DHA Health Regulation Department arranged to conduct medical examinations for the UAE football players who will take part in the London 2012 Olympics. The Sports Medical Committee at the DHA Health Regulation Department organised the medical examinations for the players who visited Dubai Hospital and Rashid Hospital for the purpose. Dr Ramadan Ibrahim, Director of DHA Health Regulation said: "We are glad to have coordinated with the UAE Football Association in this regard. The players underwent a comprehensive medical check-up which included several cardiac check-ups, complete physical evaluation and they were all assessed at the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Unit to ensure that they are in optimum health to take part in the Olympics."
