Sheffield Wednesday manager Gary Megson is hoping to agree a deal to keep on-loan Stoke City winger Ben Marshall at Hillsborough.Marshall has impressed during the first half of the season and is currently due to return to his parent club in the New Year.Megson is exploring the possibility of either extending the loan for the remainder of the campaign, or reaching a permanent deal for the 20-year-old.However, with Huddersfield Town having also been linked with Marshall, the Owls boss is aware that there could be competition for the wide-man."When loan players are successful then that pushes the case for them to go back to their clubs or somewhere else," said Megson in the Sheffield Star."It's always a worry. We have half a dozen in that situation."I'd love to be able to sign Ben but we have to wait and see what the circumstances are, both at this club and at Stoke."Hopefully, we can do something with Ben. He's another we'd like to keep."
