Arsenal forward Ryo Miyaichi has joined Wigan on a season-long loan. The 19-year-old Japan international enjoyed a successful spell at Bolton towards the end of last season, and will get the chance of more first-team action with the Latics. Miyaichi completed his move to Arsenal in January 2011 after impressing on trial. Both of his two senior appearances for the Gunners came in the Carling Cup, while also featuring regularly for the reserves. An Arsenal statement read: "Ryo heads to the DW Stadium to gain further first-team experience under Roberto Martinez. Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Ryo the best of luck during his time with Wigan." FIFA
