Chris Rolfe netted a pair of goals Sunday and the Chicago Fire rolled to a 3-1 victory over Philadelphia. After Philadelphia took a 1-0 lead on an own-goal by Chicago's Jalil Anibaba in the 34th minute, Rolfe one-timed a cross from Sherjill MacDonald into the net in the 43rd to make up for the mistake. Arne Friedrich then gave the Fire the lead for good during first-half stoppage time when he headed in a Marco Pappa corner kick for a 2-1 advantage. Rolfe capped the scoring in the 56th with his fourth tally of the season, and Chicago (11-7-5) went to forge a second-place tie with the New York Red Bulls in the Eastern Conference. The Union (7-12-2) lost their second straight.
